Martina Kochli is from Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she was a professional tennis player before moving to America on a Division 1 tennis scholarship. She has traveled the world -- and speaks four languages -- as a military wife, former fashion model, pro tennis player, and pro pickleball player. Martina now resides in Coral Gables, Florida, with her husband Andrew (a Major in the Army's Green Beret special forces) and their two children.

A full time professional pickleball player since March 2018, Martina is currently ranked #16 on the APP Pro Tour and is the co-founder (with her husband) of American Pickleball, which produces tournaments, events, and merchandise benefitting veterans, first responders, Florida communities, and the Green Beret Foundation. She is also a top pickleball instructor at the exclusive Fisher Island Racquet Club, which is ranked #1 tennis and pickleball facility on the East Coast by Tennis Magazine.

When she isn't practicing, training, teaching, organizing tournaments, and playing pro pickleball, she enjoys skiing, ice-skating, biking, and enjoying beach-life with her husband and kids.

Martina is a fan favorite player worldwide and one of the most popular players on the professional pickleball tour. She is excited to join Team Vulcan because of the family atmosphere and supportive, collaborative team. Vulcan Pickleball is so proud to have such an amazing player and person on the team!
