Tanners began 2021 being featured in the Hot Springs local paper, The Sentinel Record, for mask production. The piece highlighted the different kinds of face coverings being produced by the company—ear loop masks, head loop masks, and gaiters; it also focused on the custom masks the team produced for the Arkansas governor, among others.

Just a few weeks later, Tanners was featured for mask production again in a THV11 interview, titled “The Pandemic Hit Arkansas Small Businesses Hard. Some Are Coming Back From the Brink.” The piece focused on three local businesses that pivoted their operations during the pandemic to keep jobs safe. It highlighted the community support that have kept smaller businesses, like Tanners, alive during a difficult time.
